The MAC Project

Today I have been hired again by the Coventry Boys and Girls Club to aid them with the recordings of their Live Lounge music sessions. The MAC project (Music and Change) wanted to record a fully live music session with a artist rapping and a instrumentalist playing in the background. Though we were there predominantly for video, we also gave our supportive input in regards to the audio set up. They were using a Rose microphone for the vocals, the keyboard and electric guitar were lined into a scarlet focus-rite and the DAW used was Ableton. For the drums, I believed they just allowed the drum to be recorded by the artist microphone as placing microphones on it was not necessary . Overall the project was a success and we recorded five of these videos in one day!
