As time has progressed, the team including myself have built our audio and visual skills to a much higher level. Such work allowed us to gain Coventry Building Society as a client. The brief was to record a highlight video for an Old’s People Event they were hosting which would consist of both shots of the actual event but interviews of those who attended the event after. To produce the best audio we opted to use a Zoom H5 Recorded alongside two Rode lapel mics. We chose this combination as the Rode lapel mics arguably produce some of the best microphone quality, especially for their price. In addition to this, the lapel mics were simple to clip on not causing any hassle for the elderly. We chose to use two lapel mics to record the audio in case one microphone some how failed to record Adding this to the Zoom H5 allows for tailored recording regarding specific audio frequencies gain and much more useful features. The results as shown below were very much excellent. To take our audio to a further level, we also continued to edit it in premiere pro in post using an EQ to filter some more of the unwanted frequencies for voice recording.
