Sontronics

Today, the director of Sontronics, Trevor Coley, was invited in to our University lecture to provide a greater insight in to the research of microphones, how they operate and how his brand makes sure to get the most use out of its microphones. He went in to detail about the different types of microphones, cardioid and omni directional microphones building on the foundation that I already had. It was amazing have the opportunity to interact with the head of a successful audio company to gain understanding as to where the creative side meets the business side. I was very fortunate to even have a conversation with Trevor about the social media and promotional side of his business and have an insight in to how audio companies function in the promotional side of business. Later that day Trevor was hosting a class on how to use the sontronic microphones and I decided to take some pictures of the excellent workshop he provided. After sending these pictures across, the Sontronics team said that they like them and I’m hoping to do some more projects with them in the future!
